The I300 can be configured to satisfy the characteristics and requirements of the application by selecting and defining its input and output parameters.
Configuration is structured in menus (input/output -input/output) with a number of submenus, as described in the various flowcharts.
- The configuration can be changed only by entering code "15." Otherwise, only the current configuration will be seen.
- For safety reasons, "change configuration" mode cannot be quit without first running through and confirming all of the menu steps involved.
- Some parameters or steps on the flowchart will not be shown when scrolling through the various menus because:
- some functions are missing (input contacts, analog output, etc.), depending on the I300 model used;
- a selection made on the menu that contains only a specific number of parameters.
The I300 has two acquisition channels for measurement of:
- a single physical quantity acquired only by channel 1: "SinGL" input.
- a differential value (channel 1 - channel 2) of a physical quantity: "diFF" input. In this case, the two channels must have identical sensors or input
signals. The selected configuration is automatically assigned to the two channels.
- two different physical quantities: temperature (channel 1) and relative humidity (channel 2).
Select one of the five flowcharts describing the configuration process based on the type of sensor or input signal and on the physical quantity to be mea-
sured. Select the "inPut" menu and enter code 15 to access the configuration procedure.
