Introduction
4.4.2.2 Castell Lock Kit
The breaker key lock is an optional accessory, which
will keep the breaker in trip free state while locked.
Maximum 1 key of Castell type can be used.
All ME10 Devices can be equipped with only one
Castell lock, that when fitted as indicated allow to
lock the device in its open position.
Breaker key lock installation:
1. Turn the breaker off and discharge the closing
springs by depressing the OFF and ON buttons in
the sequence OFF-ON-OFF.
Verify that the breaker OFF-ON indicator shows OFF
on a green background and that the charge indicator
shows DISCHARGE on a white background.
If installing in a draw-out type breaker remove
breaker from adaptor (cassette) before continuing.
2. Loosen the 6 screws on front cover (fascia) using a
Pozidrive screw driver as shown in Fig.1.
3. Rotate the charging handle down and slide the
front cover over the handle to remove the front cover
as shown in Fig. 2.
4. Fix the cam with the Castell lock with the screw
and nuts provided along with the kit as shown in
Fig. 3.
5. Fix the Lock assy on the mounting Bracket as
shown in Fig. 4.
6. Fix the mounting bracket assembly in breaker
using the nuts provided as shown in Fig. 5a & 5b.

Einführung
4.4.2.2 Castell
Schlüsselsperren Bausatz
Die Leistungsschalter Schlüsselsperren sind ein
optionales Zubehör, die den Leistungsschalter in
einem auslösbarem Zustand halten, während er
gesperrt ist. Pro Schalter kann maximal eine Castell
Schlüsselsperre verwendet werden.
Alle ME10 Geräte können mit nur einem Castell
Schloss ausgerüstet werden, welches, wenn es wie
angegeben eingebaut ist, den Schalter in seiner
offenen Stellung sperrt.
Montage der Schalter-Schlüsselsperre:
1. Schalten Sie den Leistungsschalter aus und
entspannen Sie die Antriebsfedern durch die
Betätigung der OFF (AUS) und ON (EIN)-Tasten in der
Reihenfolge OFF-ON-OFF (AUS-EIN-AUS).
Überprüfen Sie, dass die Leistungsschalter OFF-ON-
OFF-Anzeige nun einen grünen Hintergrund und die
Antriebsfeder-Anzeige DISCHARGE (ENTSPANNT) auf
einem weißen Hintergrund anzeigt.
Wenn Sie den Leistungsschalter in einem
Einschubsystem betrieben haben, so entfernen Sie
den Leistungsschalter zunächst aus dem
Einschubträger, bevor Sie mit der Installation
fortfahren.
2. Lösen Sie die 6 Schrauben an der
Frontabdeckung mit einem Pozidrive-Kreuzschlitz

Schraubendreher, wie in Abb.1 beschrieben.
3. Drehen Sie den Spanngriff etwas nach unten und
entfernen Sie die vordere Abdeckung über den Griff
wie in Abb. 2 gezeigt.
4. Befestigen Sie den Riegelhebel mit dem Castell-
Schloss mittels Schraube und Muttern mit dem
Bausatz, wie in Abb. 3 dargestellt.
5. Befestigen Sie das Sperrsystem an der Halterung
wie in Abb. 4 gezeigt.
6. Befestigen Sie die Montagewinkel-Kombination
im Leistungsschalter mit den Muttern wie in Abb. 5a
und 5b gezeigt.

Introduzione
4.4.2.2 Kit serratura Castell
La serratura a chiave è un accessorio opzionale,
che tiene l'interruttore in posizione di aperto
quando bloccata.
Può essere utilizzata massimo 1 chiave di tipo
Castell.
Tutti i prodotti ME10 possono essere equipaggiati
con una sola serratura Castell che, quando montata
come indicato, permette di bloccare il dispositivo in
posizione aperta.
Installazione della serratura a chiave
sull'interruttore:
1. Spegnere l'interruttore e scaricare le molle di
chiusura premendo i pulsanti ON e OFF secondo la
sequenza OFF-ON-OFF.
Verificare che l'indicatore ON-OFF dell'interruttore
mostri lo sfondo verde e che l'indicatore di carica
mostri DISCHARGE su uno sfondo bianco.
Se l'installazione riguarda un interruttore in
esecuzione estraibile rimuovere l'interruttore
dall'adattatore (parte fissa) prima di continuare.
2. Allentare le 6 viti sulla parte frontale (anteriore)
con un cacciavite Pozidriv, come mostrato in Fig. 1.

3. Abbassare la leva di carica manuale e far
scorrere la copertura anteriore sopra la maniglia
per rimuoverla, come mostrato in Fig. 2.
4. Fissare la camma alla serratura Castell con la
vite e i dadi forniti insieme al kit come mostrato in
Fig. 3.
5. Fissare il gruppo del blocco sulla staffa di
montaggio come mostrato in Fig. 4.
6. Fissare la staffa di montaggio all'interruttore
utilizzando i dadi in dotazione, come mostrato in
Fig. 5a e 5b.

1. Remove pad locks, installed if any.
2. Unscrew the 6 [Env. T = 4] screws (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) using a Pozidrive screw driver
as shown in Fig. A&B.
3. Rotate the charging handle down and slide the front
cover over the handle to remove out as shown in Fig. C.
Abbau der Frontabdeckung
1. Entfernen Sie installierte Vorhängeschlösser.
2. Lösen Sie die 6 [Baugr. T = 4] Schrauben (6Nm) mit einem Pozidrive-
Schraubenzieher wie in Abb. A&B dargestellt.
unten, während Sie die Abdeckung für den Abbau nach oben über den Hebel heben,
wie in Abb. C.
Rimozione della copertura anteriore
1. Se installati, rimuovere I lucchetti.
2. Svitare le 6 [Taglia T = 4] viti (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) utilizzando un cacciavite Pozidriv
come mostrato in Fig.A&B.
3. Abbassare la leva di carica manuale e far scorrere
la copertura anteriore sopra la maniglia per rimuoverla, come mostrato in Fig. C.
