4.1.3 UNDERVOLTAGE RELEASE
Undervoltage Release (UVR)
An UVR device activates the circuit breaker
tripping mechanism when the line voltage drops
below a specified threshold. The ME10 devices
are equipped with a short delay to prevent
nuisance tripping on brown outs.
Under Voltage Releases are available as a
factory mounted devices or as a easy to fit field
installable units in a wide range of voltages.
NOTE: This accessory is a No-Volt/No Close
device and can be used to interlock breakers.
The circuit breaker cannot be closed (manually
or electrically) unless the undervoltage release is
energized above the required threshold.
Under Voltage Release:
A device designed to open the breaker contacts
and to prevent the breaker from closing when
the system voltage is not with in the specified
limits.
Installation of Under voltage release
1. Remove the fascia as explained..
2. This accessory is mounted on the mechanism
top plate. In the Envelope 1, 2 or 3 in the 2nd or
4th location as shown in Fig. F.1. In Envelope T in
the 1st or 3rd location as shown in Fig. F.2.
3. Tilt the coil forward and engage the front
hooks into the mechanism top support plate as
shown in the Fig. A.
4. Tilt the device backwards until the rear hooks
engage in the slots on the mechanism top
support plate as shown in the Fig. B
5. After installing the UV on the mechanism top
plate, connect the input wire assembly plug. On
the Envelope 1, 2 and 3 to the A7/A8 or A12/A13
locations on the secondary disconnect terminal
as shown in Fig. C. On Envelope T to the A7/A8
locations marked on the secondary disconnect
terminals a shown in Fig. C.
6. Ensure that the plug in connection is firm and
that the plug is inserted into the correct
terminals.
7. Assemble the fascia as explained elsewhere
in this manual.

Unterspannungs-Auslöser (UVR)
Der UVR aktiviert sofort den Leistungsschalter
Auslöse-Mechanismus, wenn die Versorgungs-
Spannung unterhalb der Schwelle der zulässig
niedrigsten Spannung abfällt. Der UVR ist
verfügbar als ein werkseitig montiertes oder als

breitem Spannungsbereich .
HINWEIS: Das Zubehör ist ein Spannungslos /
OFFEN Gerät und kann auch zur Verriegelung
von Leistungsschaltern verwendet werden.
Der Leistungsschalter kann nicht geschlossen
werden (manuell oder elektrisch), es sei denn, die
Unterspannungsauslöser-Modul-Spannung ist
über dem geforderten Spannungsgrenzwert.
Unterspannungsauslöser (U-Auslöser):
Ein Gerät zum Öffnen der Leistungsschalter-
Hauptkontakte und um zu verhindern, dass der
Leistungsschalter geschlossen werden kann,
wenn sich die Systemspannung nicht in den
angegebenen Grenzen befindet.
Die Montage des Unterspannungauslöser:
1. Entfernen Sie die Schalter-Frontabdeckung,
s.u.
2. Dieser Zubehörartikel ist auf der
Modulträgerplatte für Baugröße 1, 2 & 3 an der
2. oder 4. Position (Abb. F.1), für Baugröße T an
der 1. und 3. Position montierbar, siehe Abb. F.2.
3. Kippen Sie das Modul nach vorn, damit die
vorderen Haken in die Trägerplatte eingreifen,
wie in der Abb. A gezeigt.
4. Kippen Sie das Gerät rückwärts, bis die
hinteren Haken in die Schlitze in der Trägerplatte
einrasten, wie in der Abb. B gezeigt.
5. Nach der Montage des U-Auslösers auf die
Trägerplatte schließen Sie, für Baugröße 1, 2 & 3
den Eingangsleiterstecker an A7/A8 oder
A12/A13 Anschluss an, für Baugröße T an A7/A8
am Hilfstrennblock an, der in Abb. C gezeigt wird.
6. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der
Verdrahtungsstecker fest in die richtigen
sekundären Hilfstrennblock-Anschlüsse
eingesteckt wird.
7. Setzen Sie die Frontabdeckung in
umgekehrter Reihenfolge wieder auf.

4.1.3 BOBINA DI MINIMA TENSIONE
Bobina di minima tensione (UVR)
Un dispositivo UVR attiva il meccanismo di
intervento dell'interruttore quando la tensione
scende sotto una determinata soglia. I dispositivi
ME10 sono dotati di una breve temporizzazione
per evitare interventi indesiderati o causati da cali

di tensione (brown out). Le bobine di minima
tensione sono disponibili come dispositivi montati
in fabbrica o come unità installabili con facilità in
loco, secondo una vasta gamma di tensioni.
NOTA: Questo accessorio è un dispositivo a
"tensione nulla=non chiusura" che può essere
utilizzato per l'interblocco degli interruttori.
L'interruttore non può essere chiuso
(manualmente o elettricamente) a meno che la
bobina di minima tensione sia alimentata al di
sopra della soglia richiesta.
Bobina di minima tensione:
Dispositivo progettato per aprire i contatti
dell'interruttore e per impedire la chiusura
dell'interruttore quando la tensione di sistema non
è entro i limiti specificati.
Installazione della bobina di minima tensione
1. Togliere la copertura anteriore come indicato.
2. L' accessorio è montato sull piastra superiore
del dispositivo. Nelle taglie 1,2 e 3 nella 2a o 4a
posizione come in fig. F.1. Nella taglia T si trova
nella 1a o 3a posizione come in fig. F.2.
3. Inclinare il dispositivo in avanti finché i ganci
anteriori si inseriscono nella piastra di supporto
superiore del meccanismo come mostrato in Fig.A
4. Inclinare il dispositivo all'indietro finché i fermi
posteriori si inseriscono nelle fessure della piastra
di supporto superiore del meccanismo come
mostrato in Fig. B
5. Dopo aver installato l'UV sulla piastra superiore
del meccanismo, inserire lo spinotto di
collegamento: per la taglia 1,2 e 3 nelle posizioni
A7/A8 o A12/A13 indicate sui morsetti di
sezionamento ausiliari come mostrato in Fig. C.
Per la taglia T nelle posizioni A7/A8 indicate sui
morsetti di sezionamento ausiliari come mostrato
in Fig. C.
6. Assicurarsi che lo spinotto sia collegato in
modo saldo e sia inserito nei terminali corretti.
7. Rimontare la copertura anteriore come
indicato.
Removal of Front cover
1. Remove pad locks, installed if any.
2. Unscrew the 6 [Env. T = 4] screws (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) using a Pozidrive screw driver
as shown in Fig. A&B.
3. Rotate the charging handle down and slide the front
cover over the handle to remove out as shown in Fig. C.
Abbau der Frontabdeckung
1. Entfernen Sie installierte Vorhängeschlösser.
2. Lösen Sie die 6 [Baugr. T = 4] Schrauben (6Nm) mit einem Pozidrive-
Schraubenzieher wie in Abb. A&B dargestellt.
unten, während Sie die Abdeckung für den Abbau nach oben über den Hebel heben,
wie in Abb. C.
Rimozione della copertura anteriore
1. Se installati, rimuovere I lucchetti.
2. Svitare le 6 [Taglia T = 4] viti (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) utilizzando un cacciavite Pozidriv
come mostrato in Fig.A&B.
3. Abbassare la leva di carica manuale e far scorrere
la copertura anteriore sopra la maniglia per rimuoverla, come mostrato in Fig. C.
