4.3.1 Auxiliary Contact
Auxiliary contacts are designed to indicate the
position of the Power Circuit Breaker main
contacts. Each ME10 device is supplied with a
standard package of 3 Normally open (NO) and
3 normally closed (NC) contacts that operate
simultaneously with the breakers main contacts.
Optionally other packages are available that can
be used to increase the number of available
contacts by replacing the standard auxiliary
contact block.

Installation of Auxiliary Contact:
1. The breaker should be safely isolated and
fully withdrawn to disconnected position.
2. Remove the fascia as explained.
3. If present, dis-assemble all installed Coils
and/or Releases as indicated elsewhere in this
section.
4. Unplug the existing aux switch connector

Gebrauchsanleitung
4.3.1 Hilfsschalter
Hilfskontakte geben die Stellung der
Leistungsschalter-Hauptkontakte weiter.
Standard-Leistungsschalter-Konfigurationen
bestehen aus 3 Schließer (NO) und 3 Öffner (NC) -
Hilfskontakten. Diese Kontakte arbeiten
gleichzeitig parallel mit den Hauptkontakten.
Der Standard-Hilfsschalter kann durch eine der
folgenden Konfigurationen ersetzt werden, um
die Anzahl der verfügbaren Kontakte zu
verändern.

Die Montage des Hilfsschalters:
1. Der Leistungsschalter muss sicher getrennt,
d.h. vollständig aus dem Einschubträger in die
TRENN-Stellung gebracht sein.
2. Entfernen Sie die Schalterabdeckung, s.u.
3. Entfernen Sie wie vorher beschrieben, alle
Module, die auf der Trägerplatte installiert sind.
4. Ziehen Sie die bestehenden Hilfsschalter-
Anschlussstecker aus dem Hilfstrennblock, wie

4.3.1 Contatto ausiliario
I contatti ausiliari sono progettati per indicare la
posizione dei contatti principali (poli) di un
interruttore. Ogni dispositivo ME10 viene fornito
con un pacchetto standard di 3 contatti
normalmente aperti (NA) e 3 contatti
normalmente chiusi (NC), che operano
simultaneamente con i contatti principali degli
interruttori. Opzionalmente sono disponibili altri
pacchetti che possono essere utilizzati per
aumentare il numero di contatti disponibili
sostituendo il blocco di contatti ausiliari
standard.

Installazione dei contatti ausiliari:
1. L'interruttore deve essere isolato in modo
sicuro e completamente estratto in posizione
DISCONNECTED.
2. Togliere la copertura anteriore come indicato.
3. Se presenti, smontare tutte le bobine e/o gli
sganciatori, come indicato in questa sezione.
4. Scollegare gli spinotti di collegamento del
contatto ausiliario esistente dalla morsettiera di
Removal of Front cover
1. Remove pad locks, installed if any.
2. Unscrew the 6 [Env. T = 4] screws (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) using a Pozidrive screw driver
as shown in Fig. A&B.
3. Rotate the charging handle down and slide the front
cover over the handle to remove out as shown in Fig. C.
Abbau der Frontabdeckung
1. Entfernen Sie installierte Vorhängeschlösser.
2. Lösen Sie die 6 [Baugr. T = 4] Schrauben (6Nm) mit einem Pozidrive-
Schraubenzieher wie in Abb. A&B dargestellt.
unten, während Sie die Abdeckung für den Abbau nach oben über den Hebel heben,
wie in Abb. C.
Rimozione della copertura anteriore
1. Se installati, rimuovere I lucchetti.
2. Svitare le 6 [Taglia T = 4] viti (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) utilizzando un cacciavite Pozidriv
come mostrato in Fig.A&B.
3. Abbassare la leva di carica manuale e far scorrere
la copertura anteriore sopra la maniglia per rimuoverla, come mostrato in Fig. C.
