The Camera : Advanced Techniques
Continuous Auto Focus Mode
✤ Allows the user to focus rapidly, whereas the single auto focus
gives a less rapid response but saves battery power.
✤ When Continuous Auto Focus mode is selected, [CAF] is
displayed on the LCD monitor.
1. Turn your camera on by setting the Power Switch to
(CAMERA) mode.
2. Turn the Mode Dial to set
SCENE mode.

For SCENE mode, it only works in CHILDREN
and CLOSE-UP modes.
3. Press the MF/AF button until [CAF] is displayed to set
the focus mode to Continuous Auto Focus.

The [CAF] indicator is displayed.
4. Press the PHOTO button to take photo.
5. To return to Auto Focus Mode, press the MF/AF
button until the [CAF] indicator disappears.

✤ EASYQ mode selects the AUTO FOCUS automatically.
✤ Be sure to confirm that the focus is set using the LCD monitor or
the viewfinder when Manual Focusing is used.
✤ Continuous Auto Focus will consume more battery power.

✤ Ermöglicht die schnelle Einstellung der Bildschärfe. Der normale
Autofokus ist zwar etwas langsamer, schont dabei aber die
Batterien.
✤ Bei Auswahl des Modus Fortgesetzter Autofokus <Continuous Auto
Focus> erscheint auf dem LCD-Bildschirm die Anzeige [CAF].
1. Schalten Sie die Kamera ein, indem Sie mit dem
Hauptschalter den Modus
<CAMERA>) einstellen.
2. Stellen Sie den Moduswahlschalter auf
(PROGRAMM <PROGRAM>), A, S, M oder
SZENE <SCENE>.

Im Modus SZENE <SCENE> muss der Modus
KINDER <CHILDREN> bzw. NAHAUFN
<CLOSE-UP> ausgewählt werden.
3. Drücken Sie die Taste MF/AF, bis auf dem LCD-
Bildschirm die Anzeige [CAF] erscheint, um den
fortgesetzten Autofokus einzustellen.

Auf dem LCD-Bildschirm erscheint [CAF].
4. Drücken Sie die Taste FOTO <PHOTO>, um die
Aufnahme auszulösen.
5. Wenn Sie in den Modus Autofokus zurückkehren
möchten, drücken Sie die Taste MF/AF, bis die
Anzeige [CAF] erlischt.
Hinweise
✤ In den Modi EASYQ und AUTO wird automatisch der AUTOFOKUS
<AUTO FOCUS> verwendet.
✤ Überprüfen Sie die Bildschärfe bei Verwendung des manuellen
Fokus mit Hilfe des LCD-Bildschirms bzw. des Suchers.
✤ Die Verwendung des fortgesetzten Autofokus verbraucht mehr
Batteriestrom.
