The Camera : Basic Picture Taking
Delayed Recording – Self Timer
✤ Using the remote control, delaying the shutter release (in
order to take self-photography and various other camera
uses) is available.
1. Turn your camera on by setting the Power Switch to
(CAMERA) mode.
2. Turn the Mode Dial to set
(PROGRAM), A, S, M,
SCENE or
(MOVIE) mode.
3. Press the MENU button.

4. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to select
(SELF TIMER), then press the DOWN button.

The available options of OFF, 2s SELF and 10s SELF
are listed.
5. Select an option by pressing the DOWN or UP button,
then press the OK or MENU button.

The selected option is applied and the corresponding
indicator appears on the LCD monitor.

You can also set the SELF TIMER by pressing the
SELF TIMER button on the Remote Control until the
desired option is displayed on the LCD monitor.
: Delays the shutter release by 2 seconds.
: Delays the shutter release by 10 seconds.
6. Frame your subject.
7. Press the PHOTO button on the Remote Control or on the
Camera to start the timer. For motion clips, press the
START/STOP button on the Remote Control or on the
Camera.

A beep sound will play and after the time indicated,
recording starts.
Reference
✤ Do not obstruct the remote control sensor by putting
obstacles between the remote control and camera.
✤ The remote control range is 4 ~ 5m (13 ~ 17 ft).
✤ The effective remote control angle is up to 30 degrees left / right from the
center line.
✤ Using a tripod is recommended for delayed recording.

✤ Über die Fernbedienung kann die Bildaufnahme verzögert
werden (für Selbstaufnahmen und andere Anwendungen).
1. Schalten Sie die Kamera ein, indem Sie mit dem Hauptschalter
den Modus
(AUFNAHME <CAMERA>) einstellen.
2. Stellen Sie den Moduswahlschalter auf
<PROGRAM>) A, S, M, SZENE <SCENE> oder
<FILM>.
3. Drücken Sie die Taste MENÜ <MENU>.

Das Hauptmenü mit dem Menüpunkt
(SELBSTAUSL. <SELF TIMER>) wird angezeigt.

4. Drücken Sie die Taste NACH LINKS bzw. NACH RECHTS,
um SELBSTAUSL. <SELF TIMER> auszuwählen. Drücken
Sie anschließend die Taste NACH UNTEN.

Die Optionen AUS <OFF>, AUSLÖSER 2 s SELBST
<2s SELF> und AUSLÖSER 10 s SELBST<10s SELF>
werden angezeigt.
5. Wählen Sie mit Hilfe der Tasten NACH UNTEN bzw. NACH
OBEN eine Option aus, und bestätigen Sie mit der Taste
OK bzw. MENÜ <MENU>.

Die ausgewählte Option wird übernommen. Auf dem
LCD-Bildschirm erscheint die entsprechende Anzeige.

Die Einstellung des SELBSTAUSL. <SELF TIMER>
können Sie auch mit der Taste SELBSTAUSL. <SELF
TIMER> auf der Fernbedienung vornehmen.
Drücken Sie diese Taste, bis die gewünschte Option auf
dem LCD-Bildschirm erscheint.
: Verzögert die Aufnahme um 2 Sekunden.
: Verzögert die Aufnahme um 10 Sekunden.
6. Erfassen Sie das gewünschte Objekt.
7. Drücken Sie die Taste FOTO <PHOTO> auf der
Fernbedienung bzw. der Kamera, um den Selbstauslöser zu
aktivieren. Drücken Sie bei Videoclips die Taste START/STOPP
<START/STOP> auf der Fernbedienung bzw. der Kamera.

Es ertönt ein Signal. Nach der angegebenen Zeit wird
die Aufnahme gestartet.
Hinweise
✤ Zwischen Fernbedienung und Kamera dürfen sich keine
Hindernisse befinden, da sonst der Empfang gestört wird.
✤ Die Fernbedienung hat eine Reichweite von 4 bis 5 Metern.
✤ Der ideale Bedienungswinkel beträgt 30° links/rechts von der Mittellinie.
✤ Für verzögerte Aufnahmen wird die Verwendung eines Stativs empfohlen.
