Configuration level

In the configuration level (CONFIGURATION FUNCTIONS) the following inputs are
possible:
• Choice of language
(MESSAGE LANGUAGE: GERMAN/ENGLISH etc.)
• Start of the detergent pre-metering function with external enable
(optional with second PCB) (METERING ENABLE EXTERNAL ?)
• Start of the detergent pre-metering function with external enable
(optional with second PCB) (PREMETERING EXTERNAL?)
The programming steps as well as the display texts are shown as a complete block on the

general overview of the programming structure in the appendix.
10.1

Adjustment of the language

The display texts and alarm messages are available in several languages: English,
German, French, Italian, Spanish or Dutch.
Adjust the language as follows:
Activate the menu MESSAGE LANGUAGE in the programme structure and use the
buttons or
10.2 Activation of the external enabling signal for detergent metering
(optional with second PCB, article-no. 223552)
When the main board (PCB) receives a voltage (standard connection) the parameter
METERING ENABLE EXTERNAL? has to be set to YES. Detergent dosage starts only
after the enable „detergent metering" is made. The signal to transfer requires a interface
module (art. no. 223595).
If the power supply of the metering unit and the activation of the transferring pump are
simultaneous, the parameter METERING ENABLE EXTERNAL? has to be set to NO.
In this case detergent dosage starts as soon as the metering unit receives power and the
conductivity falls bellow the set-point.
10.3 Activation of the pre-metering function
(optional with second PCB and metering enable external to „YES")
If the detergent has to be pre-metered during the filling process of the washer
(recommended for multiple tank machines), the parameter „PREMETERING EXTERNAL"
has to be set to YES.
The signal to transfer requires a interface module (art. no. 223595). With interface module
enabling signals "12 – 230 V AC/DC" can be connected on add-on-board.
Only the units CDI 01 with Article-no. 123524, 123526 and 123528 are equipped with the
