5.4.1
Wall mounting
Ensure the correct mounting fixtures are used for the type of wall construction
CAUTION
(i. e. brick, block board)!
Perform the wall mounting as follows:
1. Remove the four cover screws (chapter 5.1, fig. 5.1, pos. 3) and take off the enclosure
cover (fig. 5.1, pos. 2).
2. Mark the fixing holes at the intended points (use the mounting plate as template). Drill
the holes and fix the wall plugs (fig 5.1 pos. 6).
3. Fix the mounting plate (fig. 5.1, pos. 7) and the housing (fig. 5.1, pos.1) to the wall
see fig 5.1.
4. When the electrical connections are complete, refit the enclosure cover again and
ensue screws are tight.
5.4.2
Connection of suction and metering hoses at the detergent metering pump
Connect the suction and metering hoses (chapter 5.2, fig. 5.2, pos. 8 and 10) to the pump
head (fig. 5.2, pos. 2). For the use of textile reinforced hoses, we recommend the use of
hose adapter (abb. 5.2, pos. 4).
5.4.3
Installation of the conductivity sensor
When fitting the measuring and metering points in the washing tank the flow conditions in
the rinsing water must be considered. The measuring point should always be placed
NOTE
behind the metering point and before the suction of the transferring pump.
If the conductivity sensor is placed in the tank wall, the hole in the cell should be angular
to the tank bottom of approx. 45° to prevent deposits and air being trapped.
To guarantee an unproblematic function of the unit, keep to the following data exactly.
Distance of the tank edges/corners:
Distance of the heating items:
Perform the installation and the connection of the conductivity sensor as follows:
1. Drill a hole ∅ 10 mm into the tank wall at intended point and punch it out to ∅ 23 mm.
2. Install cell into tank wall and connect the conductivity sensor round plug to connection C
socket (see chapter 5.3, fig. 5.4).
5.4.4
Electrical connection
WARNING
Only use the original transformer (included in the delivery pack).
Follow the prevailing international, national and local instructions for the electrical
CAUTION
connection of the unit.
The electrical connections must be performed as shown in chapter 5.3, fig. 5.4 and the
appropriate terminal diagram (see chapter 16.1).
