Dear customer,
By purchasing this VC 608 digital multimeter, you have acquired a 5 digit, true rms,
measuring device which incorporates the latest technology and is equipped with an
infra-red interface.
The construction complies with part 1 of the German standard DIN VDE 0411
for measuring devices, i.e., EN 61010-1. Apart from that, it has been tested by
the EMV (for household use) and it thereby meets the requirements of applica-
ble European and national guidelines. Conformity has been proven: appropriate
certifying documents are deposited with the manufacturer.
In order to maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation, you - as the user -
must observe these Operating Instructions!

Using the VC 608 measuring device as

Geachte klant,
Met deze digitale multimeter VC - 608 heeft u een meetapparaat met 5-cijferige
TRUE Rms-weergave (werkelijke rms-waarde) met infrarood-interface die is gemaakt
volgens de huidige technische inzichten.
De constructie voldoet aan DIN VDE 0411, deel 1 voor meetapparaten = EN
61010-1. Tevens is het apparaat getest op elektromagnetische compatibiliteit
(EMC) (voor huishoudelijke toepassingen) en voldoet het op dat punt aan de
eisen van de geldende Europese en nationale richtlijnen, hetgeen blijkt uit de
desbetreffende verklaringen en documenten die zich bij de fabrikant bevinden.
Om deze situatie te continueren en om er zeker van te zijn dat u het apparaat zonder
gevaar zult kunnen gebruiken, dient u de voorschriften in deze gebruiksaanwijzing in
acht te nemen!
