Conductivity Measuring Module (electrodeless)
The transverse bore of the measuring cell must always be aligned parallel to the pipe
axis, i.e. in the direction of flow of the medium.
Departures can lead to wrong measured value (vortices). The installation position can
be checked from the outside by means of the colour code arrows on the adapter of
the measuring cell. Preferably installed into the vertical pipe with the direction of
through-flow from bottom to top. The distance between measured value transmitter
and device may amount to a maximum of 10 m.
The place of installation must be chosen in such a way that sufficient mixing is war-
ranted in the area of the measuring cell. The transverse bore of the measuring cell
must be aligned vertically, i.e. up to a max. angle of 45°. The distance between meas-
uring cell and device may amount to a maximum of 10 m.
Weld weld-on fitting on correctly.
Inappropriate choice of material with regard to the connection between tank wall,
welding electrode, weld-on fitting (Material 1.4301) and weld finish, can lead to weld
corrosion.
