Battery charger

Do not short-circuit the charger terminals with
metallic objects.
– This may cause the charger to overheat, catch
fire or produce an electric shock.
Do not bring the charger terminals into con-
tact with the button-type or coin-type battery.
– The button-type or coin-type battery may ex-
plode and cause fire.
Do not handle the power plug with wet hands.
– This may cause electric shock.
Do not overload the plug socket or extension
plug cables.
– If the power supply is overloaded (e.g. by us-
ing too many adaptors), overheating may oc-
cur which will result in fire.
Do not wind the power cord around the bat-
tery charger when storing.
– The power cord or plug may be broken. Con-
tinuous use of the damaged power cord or plug
may result in electric shock, malfunction, or
fire.
Do not attempt to do the following.
– Hit the charger - Drop the charger - Use near
leaking water - Use in humid places
– This may cause the charger to overheat, catch
fire, or produce an electric shock.
Do not leave the charger in a place where chil-
dren or pets can touch it.
– Children or pets may damage the cord which
may result in electric shock, malfunction, or
fire. Pull out the power plug and wipe it with a
dry cloth.
Do not use the charger on anything other than
the specified electric bicycles.
– This may result in injury.
Battery charger
The supply cord cannot be replaced.
– If the cord is damaged the appliance should be
scrapped.
Fully insert the power plug.
– If the plug is not inserted correctly, electric
shocks or overheating may result.
Clean the power plug regularly to prevent it
from becoming covered in dust.
This may cause a fire.
– If dust builds up on the power plug, the result-
ing humidity can damage the insulation. Pull
out the power plug from the plug socket and
wipe it with a dry cloth regularly.
