The same values as recorded to the log file are also shown in the display during test run:
3.9.13.5 Handling
During the battery test run, no matter if static or dynamic mode, the interaction is limited. Parameters cannot be
adjusted. Following actions on the control panel of the device are possible:
• the test can be started and stopped manually
• the test can be continued after a manual stop
• after a manual or automatic stop, the battery test configuration can be accessed again by tapping touch area
BACK or the function generator can be exited to the main screen with touch area HOME
Apart from a manual stop, the test run can be automatically stopped by the device because of several reasons:
• the battery voltage, as measured on the DC input of the electronic load, has reached threshold U-DV
• the battery test time has reached the maximum of 10 h resp. the adjusted value
• the consumed battery capacity has reached the maximum of 10000 Ah resp. the adjusted value
• there was a device alarm (OVP, OCP, OT etc.)
After an automatic stop, caused by any of the listed reasons, the test cannot be continued or
run again immediately. The full battery configuration has to be run through, accessible via touch
area BACK.

Remote control of the function generator

The function generator can be remotely controlled but configuration and control of the functions with individual
commands is different from manual operation. The external documentation "Programming Guide ModBus & SCPI"
explains the approach. In general the following apply:
• The function generator is not controllable via the analog interface
• The function generator is unavailable if the device in UIR mode (resistance mode, CR)
• Some functions are based on the arbitrary generator and some on the XY generator, thus both have to be con-
figured and used separately
• Function "Battery test" is not available for remote control
