3.9.13.2 Dynamic mode
The following parameters can be configured for function "Battery test" in mode "Dynamic":

Further parameters and settings which are identical for both modes are explained below.
After the configuration is done and the function has been loaded, the test can be started. The load will then dis-
charge the battery with the current adjusted as parameter "I
current, so at least the upper current cannot be reached. It applies, that the dynamic test always starts with time
t
and current I

3.9.13.3 Global settings

The following parameters can always be configured for function "Battery test":
Value
Range
Discharge voltage
0...Nominal value of U
Discharge time
00:00:00...10:00:00 [hh:mm:ss] Adjustable time limit to make the test run shorter than the
Discharge capacity 0.00...9999.99 Ah
The discharge voltage (short: U-DV) is an adjustable threshold and the most important stop criteria and shall prevent
the battery from being discharged too deep. This threshold should always be adjusted to the proper value matching the
battery to test. The discharge time has a global limit of 10 h, as well as there is a global limit for the consumed battery
capacity of 10000 Ah. In any of these three possible situations the test will automatically stop, if not manually stopped
before. In order to limit the test time or only test up to a certain capacity, these limits can adjusted to your needs.
3.9.13.4 USB logging
The front side USB port allows for direct data logging to a normal USB stick (max. 32 GB, also see 1.9.6.5) dur-
ing the battery test run. The required settings for the logging feature are done in the third step of the battery test
configuration. The interval time is adjustable in 12 steps from 100 ms to 10s.
Regardless the setting for the recording interval, the values "Ah" and "Wh" are only calculated
by the device once per second. When using an interval setting of < 1 s, several identical values
of Ah and Wh are written into the CSV.

The device will write actual values (U, I, P),
as well as the capacity counter (in Ah) and
energy counter (in Wh) together with a time
stamp into a file named "battery_log_x.csv"
(x = counting number, if there is more than
one file in the folder, else 1). The file is saved
in the default folder named HMI_FILES. The
layout of the CSV is shown to the left.
The log file can be filled with data up to a size
of 4 GB (FAT32 file size limit). Every newly
started battery test will create a new file.
