9. Dismounting, return and disposal
To avoid damage:
1. Wrap the instrument in an anti-static plastic film.
2. Place the instrument in the packaging and evenly pad with shock-absorbent
material.
3. If possible, place a bag, containing a desiccant, inside the packaging.

4. Label the shipment as transport of a highly sensitive measuring instrument.

9.3
Disposal
Incorrect disposal can put the environment at risk.
Dispose of instrument components and packaging materials in an environmentally
compatible way and in accordance with the country-specific waste disposal regulations.
Disposal of electrical equipment with permanently installed rechargeable
batteries
This instrument is labelled in accordance with the EU Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive. This instrument must not be
disposed of with household waste.

Completely discharge the rechargeable battery before disposal.
Ensure proper disposal in accordance with national regulations and
observe the currently applicable regulations.
Do not use force to remove permanently installed rechargeable
batteries from the instrument – lithium-ion rechargeable batteries in
particular pose a fire risk if they are severely damaged or deformed.
Dispose of old instruments with installed rechargeable batteries as a
whole. There is a separate container for this at recycling centres.
