Voltage supply

DANGER!
Danger to life due to electrical current
Upon contact with live parts, there is a direct danger to life.

Only use the power supply unit supplied with the instrument (original
power supply unit, Mascot model 9926).
▶
Only use a power supply unit that is fully functional or undamaged.
▶
If there is any visible damage to the case or the cable, do not use the

power supply unit.

With operating or charging using a defective or non-original power
supply unit (e.g. short-circuit from the mains voltage to the output
voltage), this can result in life-threatening voltages at the instrument.
▶
Do not expose the power supply unit to extreme moisture or
condensation.
▶
Do not use or store the power supply unit outdoors.
▶
Disconnect the power supply unit from the mains supply when it won't
be used for a longer period of time.
The low-pressure controller is factory-set for connection to a voltage supply of DC 24 V.
The connection for the power supply unit is located on the rear of the instrument.
The mains plug must be freely accessible at all times and can be removed it from the

mains socket without difficulty.
The internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which can be charged with the power

supply unit supplied with the equipment, serves as the voltage supply for the
instrument.
4.7.1 Power supply unit
The power supply unit is maintenance-free. It must not be opened (danger of electric
shock).
Permissible conditions for the power supply unit at the place of use
Ambient temperature: 0 ... 45 °C [32 ... 113 °F]

Humidity: to 90 % relative humidity (non-condensing)
