Check the instrument for any damage that may have been caused.
In the event of any damage, do not commission the instrument and contact the
manufacturer immediately.
5.1
Location
An unsafe stand or vibration can influence the measurement or lead to injury.
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled:
Make sure that the instrument is placed on a secure surface during operation.

The stand must be stable.
■
Protect the instrument from sunlight, as this can lead to measured errors.

5.2.1 Connection of the test item
The connection to the instrument is made via a 6.6 x 11 mm pressure connection. The
hose diameter should be 6 mm.
Differential pressure instruments are connected to the ⊕ and ⊖ connections of the

instrument.
Gauge pressure instruments are connected to the ⊕ connection (⊖ connection is

open to atmosphere).
Instruments for negative pressure are connected to the ⊖ connection (⊕ connection
■
is open to atmosphere).

Only connect test and calibration installations once the system has
been depressurised (atmosphere).
