Cigarette smoke only trig-
gers an alarm when it is in
the immediate vicinity and
in higher concentration.
You can take the following corrective
measures:
f Stop the alarm (see chapter 11.1
"Alarm stop" on page 70).
f Ensure that there is adequate venti-
lation at the installation location.
f Carefully and regularly clean the
device, e.g. using a vacuum cleaner.
f Inform neighbours about an alarm
without a cause of fire, so that
they do not falsely inform the fire
brigade.

12.2 Troubleshooting
Problems can occur during activation,
installation and operation under the fol-

If a device cannot be connected to a ra-
dio group, and its LED signal light does
not flash yellow, it can be that the de-
vice is not or is no longer in the learn-
