10 Restoring default
settings
In the following situations, you must re-
store the factory settings:
Connection attempt was unsuc-
•
cessful and must be repeated
To remove the allocation of a device
•
to a radio group, e.g. defective device
Proceed as follows:
(1) Pull out the activation button.
(2) Press and hold the testing/stop
button for approx. 2 to 3 seconds
and then release.
(3) Press the radio button using a split
pin until the signal LED starts to
flash yellow.
(4) Then immediately release the radio
button.
5 The device is in its default state.

10.1 Cancelling a device from a
radio group
You must cancel a device from a radio group
in the following cases:
Removing device from an
•
existing radio group and
connecting it to another group
Removing the defective device
•
from the radio group
In the radio group from which the de-
vice was removed, you must set all the
devices to factory settings and re-con-
nect them:

f Observe chapter 7 "Expanding a
radio group and learning mode" on
page 66.
f Observe chapter 6.2 "Completing a
radio group" on page 66.
