36. As soon as the spark deflector and the workpiece
support can no longer be brought within 2 mm of
the grinding disc, the grinding disc must be re-
placed.
37. Only use grinding discs recommended by the
manufacturer that are labelled with a rotation
speed that is equal to or greater than the speed
specified on the rating plate of the power tool.
38. If the grinding disc jams while grinding due to ex-
cessive feeding force or a workpiece jamming,
switch the device off and disconnect it from the
mains. Remove the workpiece and make sure that
the grinding disc runs freely. Switch the device on
and carry out the grinding operation again.
6. Residual risks
The product has been built according to state-of-the-
art and the recognised technical safety rules. However,
individual residual risks can arise during operation.
• Risk of injury for fingers and hands due to the rotat-
ing grinding disc with improper guiding or position-
ing of the tool to be sanded.
• Risk of injury from tools thrown away due to improp-
er holding or guiding.
• Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use
of improper electrical connection cables.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety In-
structions" and the "Intended Use" together with the
operating manual as a whole are observed.
• Avoid accidental starting of the product: the oper-
ating button may not be pressed when inserting
the plug in a socket. Use the tool attachment that
is recommended in this operating manual. This is
how to ensure that your product provides optimum
performance.
• Keep your hands away from the working area when
the product is in operation.

*S1: Continuous operation with constant load
**S2 30 min:
The duty cycle S2 30 min (short-time duty) states that
the engine may only be continuously loaded with the
rated power (250W) for the time specified on the data
plate (30 min). Otherwise, it would heat up impermis-
sibly. During the pause, the motor cools down again
to its initial temperature.
