Inspections
4.3.1
Functional inspection/pre-commissioning inspection
(1) Once the containers have been installed and the corresponding pipelines and safety
equipment have been assembled, a functional inspection must be carried out. This consists

inspection, which must be carried out by an expert in accordance with water law; however,
it is possible to carry out both inspections at the same time.
4.3.2
Ongoing inspections and post-commissioning inspections
(1) The operator must perform a visual inspection at least once per week to ensure that the
container is not leaking. In the event that a leak is discovered, the unit must be taken out of
service immediately and the damaged container must be emptied if necessary.
(2) The operational inspection of the items of equipment to be used must be carried out in
accordance with their respective regulations.
(3) This shall be without prejudice to any inspections required by other legislation.
