5.4 Filling (completing)

• Switch off vehicle pump
• Close ball valve of the delivery line (item d)
• Disconnect quick-coupling
• Push protective caps (red) onto coupling plug
and coupling sleeve
For the version with lid, this must closed and
locked with the two locks.

5.5 Environmental conditions

The DT-Mobil Easy 460 l / 600 l should not be
exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods
during transport or storage.
Excessive heating can result in deformation
of the high-grade plastic tank.
Suitable storage conditions
are max. - 10 °C to + 40 °C.

6. Accessories

The following accessories are available
for the DT-Mobil Easy 460 l / 600 l:

as lockable protection for the fittings
• Level indicator 460 l

• Level indicator 600 l

7. Maintenance

The filling tank DT-Mobil Easy 460 l / 600 l should
be checked at regular intervals for damage to
the tank and leaks at the fittings. Defective parts
must be replaced. The intake filter in the tank
must be cleaned at least once per year or when
the intake or conveyance performance of the
vehicle pump is low. This is done by pulling the
suction hose with intake filter a required amount
out of the filling opening by hand with the least
possible tank content. Dirt or diesel residue
adhering to the tank must be removed immedi-
ately.
Note: The filling station must always be kept
in a usable condition.

8. Inspections/Use

The DT-Mobil Easy 460 l / 600 l must be subjected
to a satisfactory inspection with regard to the
external condition and flawless function of the
operating equipment every two and a half years in
accordance with ADR 6.5.4.4.1 b.
In accordance with ADR ADR 6.5.4.4.2, all metal
IBCs, rigid plastic IBCs and combination IBCs
for transporting liquid or solid substances that
are filled or emptied under pressure must be
subjected to an initial inspection (i.e. before the
IBC is used for transportation for the first time),
an inspection following repair and leak testing at
intervals of at most two and a half years.
These tests must be performed by an expert.
The test protocol on the rear of these operating
instructions must be completed in full and signed.
If the test is passed, the test date (month/year,
e.g. 01/14) must be entered on the name plate in
waterproof ink.
The DT-Mobil Easy 460 l / 600 l as a rigid plas-
tic IBC can be used for transport for 5 years in
accordance with ADR 4.1.1.15. Thereafter, the
filling station can be conveyed in accordance with
ADR ADR 1.1.3.1 c) in connection with its primary
activity (craftsman regulation). The max. filling
volume is then limited to 450 l . The name plate
must be removed or pasted over for this.
