GENERAL PROVISIONS
1
This decision shall serve as verification of the usability or applicability of the item forming
the subject of this decision in accordance with the State building codes [Landesbauordnungen].

This decision is not intended to replace the permits, approvals and certifications required by
law for the execution of construction projects.

This decision is granted without prejudice to the rights of third parties, particularly private
industrial property rights.

Copies of this decision are to be provided to the user of the item representing the subject of
this decision without prejudice to any more detailed provisions included in the "Special Provi-
sions". In addition, the user of the item representing the subject of this decision shall be
made aware of the fact that this decision shall be made available at the location in which the
item is to be used or applied. Copies shall also be made available to the relevant authorities
upon request.

This decision may only be duplicated in full. Extracts may only be published with the consent
of the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik [German Institute for Structural Engineering].
Text and images used in promotional literature must not contradict this decision; translations
must include the note: "Translation of the original German language version not reviewed by
the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik [German Institute for Structural Engineering]".

This decision may be revoked. The provisions may subsequently be supplemented and
amended, particularly where this is required on the basis of new technical developments.

This decision was made on the basis of the information and documents provided by the ap-
plicant. Any changes made to such information and documents are not covered by this deci-
sion and must therefore be reported to the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik without delay.
