8.2 Keys
1.
MENU entry key
2.
"TOUCH and PLAY" knob
3.
EXIT keyT
Turning the TOUCH&PLAY knob results in an increase or decrease in the value
of the parameter being edited. It serves to enhance the controller operation.
Pressing the knob results in activating edition mode for the selected parameter
or confirming the value adjustment achieved by turning it.
8.3 Turning controller on
Supplying power to the controller will result in restoring it to the status from the
time of disconnection. If the controller wasn't activated before, it will activate in
the "stand-by" mode, which features periodical activation of pumps as means of
protection against seizure. Keep the controller power supply connected even if
the boiler is not in use.
To start the boiler up: press the knob and set Enabled for the boiler or press the
MENU key and adjust the boiler's operational parameters, in which case you
don't need to enable it. Upon making sure the fuel is available you may turn
the boiler on.
8.4 Setting temperature setpoints
Boiler, DHW and mixing valve circuit temperature can be set in:
Boiler settings > Boiler temperature setpoint
DHW settings > DHW temperature setpoint
The controller can automatically increase boiler temperature setpoint to charge
DHW storage tank.
8.5 STARTUP mode
STARTUP mode allows automatic startup of the burner.
Startup parameters can be modified in:
Service settings > Burner settings > Startup
In case the burner does not start, further attempts are made. After three failed
attempts, Startup failed alarm is displayed and the boiler stops. The boiler
will not resume operation automatically and user intervention is required. The
burner can be started again after the cause is identified and remedied.
