Dial>
For normal
exposures on AU TO the exposure compensa-
tion
d ial
is
locked at
the
Xl
setting. To
release
the
d
ial
from
the
Xl
sett
ing
for exposure
compensatio
n, pu
sh
the
exposure-compensat ion
-I
ock
release
all
the way toward
the front
of the
camera
and turn the
dia
l
in
t he
d
irectio
n
of
desired
compensat
ion.
The exposure compensa
ti on
sca le has
four click-stop
sett
ings
in
addit ion to
Xl
:
X2,
X4, Xl/2
and
Xl/4
(in
-between
sett ings ca
n
also
be
used).
The apertu re display inside t he viewf
ind er
turns
red w hen the
dial
is
at any sett
in
g other
than
Xl
.
Always
set
the com
pen
sa
tion
dial back
to
Xl
when
com
pensa
-
tion
is
no
longer
required .

Exposure compensation cannot be employed at the
sett ings

by the
black
dot
in
the
chart
on
the
right (these
settings exceed
the
camera's ASA f
