Entwässerungsventil prüfen
1 "Überdruck pumpen" einstellen.
2 Pumpen, bis das Manometer
10 mbar anzeigt.
Während des Pumpvorgangs:
3 Die offene Seite der Dichtkappe über
den Stößel des Überdruckventils stül-
pen und festhalten, bis sie vom gefüll-
ten Atembeutel gehalten wird.
4 Das Entwässerungsventil darf bei
10 mbar noch nicht öffnen (kein
Strömungsgeräusch).
Die bei dieser Prüfung von Bodyguard
gegebene Niederdruckwarnung ist hier
ohne Bedeutung.
Dichtheit bei Überdruck prüfen
1 "Dichtprüfen" einstellen.
2 Mit Taster Druck auf 7 mbar absen-
ken.
3 Stoppuhr starten.
Die Druckänderung innerhalb von
einer Minute muss geringer als
1 mbar sein.
1 "Unterdruck pumpen" einstellen.
Der Atembeutel wird entlüftet.
4 Dichtkappe herausnehmen.
Die bei dieser Prüfung von Bodyguard
gegebene Niederdruckwarnung ist hier
ohne Bedeutung.

Testing
Checking the Drain Valve
1 Set "positive pressure pumping".
2 Continue pumping until 10 mbar is
indicated on the pressure gauge.
While pumping:
3 Fit the open side of the sealing cap
over the tappet of the relief valve and
hold it tightly until it is pressed into
place by the inflated breathing bag.
4 The drain valve must not open at
10 mbar (flow sounds still not
audible).
The low pressure warning generated by
the Bodyguard during this test is
irrelevant here.
Leak Test with Positive
Pressure
1 Set "Leak test".
2 Press the button to reduce the
pressure to 7 mbar.
3 Start the stopwatch.
The pressure must not change by
more than 1 mbar during one
minute.
1 Set "negative pressure pumping".
The breathing bag is vented.
4 Remove the sealing cap.
The low pressure warning generated by
the Bodyguard during this test is
irrelevant here.
