Entwässerungsventil
prüfen
• Druckseite der Handpumpe auf den
Pumpenanschluss des Prüfgeräts
stecken.
1 Pumpen,
2 bis das Prüfgerät mindestens
10 mbar anzeigt.
Während des Pumpvorgangs:
3 Die offene Seite der Dichtkappe
R 22 086 über den Stößel des Über-
druckventils stülpen und festhalten,
bis sie vom gefüllten Atembeutel
gehalten wird.
4 Das Entwässerungsventil darf bei
10 mbar noch nicht öffnen (kein
Strömungsgeräusch).
Das Entwässerungsventil muss spä-
testens bei 18 mbar öffnen (Strö-
mungsgeräusch).
Die bei dieser Prüfung von Bodyguard
gegebene Niederdruckwarnung ist hier
ohne Bedeutung.
Dichtheit bei Überdruck
prüfen
1 Absperrventil am Prüfgerät
schließen.
2 Druck am Prüfgerät auf
+0,5
ca. 7 mbar absenken.
Ausgangswert notieren.
3 Stoppuhr starten.
Die Druckänderung innerhalb von
einer Minute muss geringer als
1 mbar sein.
• PSS BG 4 plus über das Prüfgerät
entlüften.
4 Dichtkappe R 22 086
herausnehmen.
Die bei dieser Prüfung von Bodyguard
gegebene Niederdruckwarnung ist hier
ohne Bedeutung.

Testing
Checking the drain valve
• Connect pressure side of the pump
to the test unit.
1 Continue pumping

2 until at least 10 mbar are indicated
on the test unit.
While pumping:
3 Fit the open side of sealing cap
R 22 086 over the tappet of the relief
valve and hold it tightly until it is
pressed into place by the inflated
breathing bag.
4 The drain valve must not open
at 10 mbar (no flow sound).
The drain valve must have opened
when 18 mbar are reached
(flow sound).
The low-pressure warning generated by
Bodyguard during this test is irrelevant
here.
Leak Test with positive
pressure
1 Close the shut-off valve at the test
unit.
2 Reduce the pressure to 7
at the test unit. Note initial value.
3 Start the stopwatch.
The pressure must not change by
more than 1 mbar during one
minute.
• De-aereate PSS BG 4 plus via test
unit.
4 Remove sealing cap R 22 086.
The low-pressure warning generated by
Bodyguard during this test is irrelevant
here.
