Atemschläuche montieren
— Die Atemschläuche sollen nicht ver-
dreht sein, deshalb Formtrenn-
Nähte beachten.
— Die Formtrenn-Nähte am Atem-
schlauch und an den Stutzen für
Atemluftkühler und CO -Absorber

sollen sich decken.
— Die Formtrenn-Nähte von Atem-
schlauch und Maskenan-
schlussstück sind um 90° versetzt.
Der Anschlussstutzen zeigt nach
oben.
1 Je drei Verstärkungsringe über die
beiden Atemschläuche schieben.
• Je einen Bajonettring über die
Enden der beiden Atemschläuche
schieben.
2 Atemschlauch mit langer Man-
schette auf den Stutzen des Atem-
luftkühlers schieben.
3 Kurze Manschette des Atem-
schlauchs auf den kurzen Stutzen des
Maskenanschlussstücks schieben.
4 Zweiten Atemschlauch mit kurzer
Manschette auf den Stutzen des
CO -Absorbers schieben.

5 Lange Manschette des Atemschlau-
ches auf den langen Stutzen des
Maskenanschlussstücks schieben.
• Vier Enden der Atemschläuche mit
Bajonettringen sichern:
Bajonettringe über Manschette und
Stutzen schieben, drehen bis zum
Einrasten.
6 Beide Atemschläuche mit Siche-
rungsschlaufen an den Schultergur-
ten befestigen (siehe Seite 42).
Enden der Schlaufen unter die
Schläuche schieben.

Fitting the breathing hoses
— The breathing hoses must not be
twisted. To avoid twisting, pay atten-
tion to the position of the mould part-
ing seams.
— The mould parting seams of the
breathing hose and the connectors
for the air cooler and CO
must line up.
— The mould parting seams of the
breathing hose and mask connecting
piece are offset by 90° to one
another. The connector points
upwards.
1 Slide three reinforcing rings over
each of the two breathing hoses.
• Slide a bayonet ring over the ends
of each breathing hose.
2 Slide the breathing hose with long
sleeve onto the connector of the
breathing air cooler.
3 Slide the short sleeve of the breath-
ing hose onto the short connector
of the mask connection piece.
4 Slide the second breathing hose with
short sleeve onto the connector
of the CO absorber.

5 Slide the long sleeve of the breathing
hose on to the long connector of
the mask connection piece.
• Secure the four ends of the breath-
ing hoses with bayonet rings:
Slide bayonet rings over the sleeves
and connectors and turn them until
they engage.
6 Secure both breathing hoses to
the shoulder straps with safety loops
(page 42).
Push the ends of the loops under
the hoses.
