Press VSR key.
Master cam
shifting to VSR
position ?
Go to 2. REC/PLAY
FAILURE routine.
Are idler gear and
supply reel disk in
mesh ?
Replace idler gear
ass'y.
Is supply reel disk
winding torque
normal ?
Replace reel pulley
ass'y.
Is pulse outputted
from reel sensor.
Replace reel
sensor.
Check main PWB.
4. UNUSUAL SOUND IN EACH MODE
4-i) Unusual sound in cassette
insertion and ejection mode
Is unusual sound heard during
cassette control running ?
Replace cassette control ass'y.
Check pinch roller drive cam, pinch roller drive
lever and reverse guide for their actions.
Replace damaged one with new one.
Unusual sound heard with pinch
roller lever going up or down ?
ls unusual sound heard during
loading/untoading ?
Take-up lock lever action
Atloading: Lever out of mesh NO
with reel disk ?
At unloading: Lever in mesh with
reel disk ?
Replace take-up lock lever.
Replace loading motor block.
