Ratschläge zum Rasenmähen
Before mowing, always clear the lawn of pebbles,
sticks and other debris. These objects can be
thrown away by the blades.
Locate and mark out rocks and other sturdy objects
in order to avoid striking them.
Start with high cutting height and reduce until the
required mowing result is received.
The best mowing result is received, if high rpm is
used (the blades rotate rapidly) and a low gear (the
rider moves slowly). If the grass is not too high and
overgrown, the driving speed can be increased by
selecting a higher gear or the engine rpm may be
reduced without noticeable decrease of the result.
The best result is received, if the lawn is mowed
frequently. The lawn becomes more even and the
mowed grass is more evenly spread over the
surface. Total time used for mowing will not be
larger because a higher driving speed can be
selected.
Avoid mowing a wet lawn. The cutting result
decreases, because the wheels will sink into the soft
and soggy lawn.
Flush the underside of the cutting unit with water,
after each use.

Mit hoher Schnitthöhe anfangen und dann
verringern, bis die gewünschte Höhe erreicht ist.
Das Schneidresultat gelingt am Besten mit hoher
Motordrehzahl
(die Messer rotieren schnell) und
niedrigem Gang (die Maschine bewegt sich
langsam). Wenn das Gras nicht zu hoch und
dichtbewachsen ist, kann die Fahrgeschwindigkeit
gesteigert werden, indem man einen höheren Gang
wählt und die Motordrehzahl senkt, ohne dass sich
das Resultat merkbar verschlechtert.
Der Rasen wird am schönsten, wenn das Gras oft
gemäht wird. Das Gras wird gleichmäßiger
geschnitten und das gemähte Gras wird gleichmäßi-
ger über die Oberfläche verteilt. Der gesamte
Zeitaufwand ist nicht größer, da eine höhere
Fahrgeschwindigkeit gewählt werden kann.
Wenn möglich, keinen nassen Rasen mähen. Das
Ergebnis wird schlechter, da die Räder im weichen
Rasen einsinken.
Nach jedem Gebrauch wird das Schneidwerkzeug
von unten mit Wasser abgespült.

La pelouse est plus esthétique si elle est tondue
avec les couteaux tournant à haut régime, en
roulant lentement. Si l'herbe n'est pas trop longue,
on pourra rouler plus vite, soit en engageant un
rapport supérieur, soit en augmentant le régime du
moteur, sans diminution notable de la qualité de la
tonte.

Les plus belles pelouses sont celles que l'on tond
souvent. La tonte est plus régulière, tout comme la
répartition de l'herbe. Et le travail va finalement
aussi vite, car l'on peut rouler plus vite sans que
l'aspect de la pelouse ne s'en ressente.
@ Eviter de tondre une pelouse mouillée. La pelouse
ne peut être tondue correctement car les roues de la
machine s'enfoncent dans le sol.

utilisation.
