Electrical connections

 Only an authorised specialist company is permitted to make the on-site
electrical connections (equipment connection socket)!
You must abide by the regulations.

 We recommend installing a selective RCD - circuit breaker (Residual
Current Device) 30 mA, type B, class C.
The RCD - circuit breakers must be selective or short time delay.
Only one massage unit should be connected to each RCD.

wellsystem MEDWAVE/MEDWAVE TOUCH: A maximum mains imped-

ance of 0.14 ohms must be guaranteed for pulse massage.
 The electrical installation must have a freely accessible, all-pole discon-
necting device (Master switch with clearly labelled On / Off settings, e.g.
'0' and 'I' or additional indicator light) fitted externally on the site.
 The unit assignment can be seen from the inscription.
 wellsystem WAVE/ WAVE TOUCH:
The socket which is required for the electrical connection must be freely
accessible or fitted with an easily accessible all-pole isolating device
(master switch), complying with overvoltage category III. This means that
each pole must have a contact opening width complying with the condi-
tions of overvoltage category III for full isolation.
 wellsystem MEDWAVE/MEDWAVE TOUCH: The equipment must be
permanently connected to the public power supply via an all-pole main
switch. One power supply circuit (power supply lead) may only power one
device.
 The power cable cross-section must be chosen in accordance with the
national regulations (VDE 0100 in Germany) e.g. power cable lengths
and the connected rating used must be taken into consideration.
A supply line is required for each unit.

Data and/or control lines are to be laid with a minimum distance of at

least 10 cm from the mains cables.
The mains connection cable must be laid before the unit is installed.

The device must only be connected to the mains supply with a protective

earth lead to prevent the risk of an electric shock.
