9.2 Electrical connection of the oven
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
There is a risk of fatal electric shock
if the appliance is connected by unqualified
persons!
This appliance may only be installed/connected
and earthed by a certified electrician
in accordance with the applicable regulations
and standards!
Important notes on connection to the mains
• The length of the connection cable must be sized
so that the device can be connected prior to insertion.
• The protective conductor must be dimensioned
in such a way that it is only subjected to tensile stress
after the live wires of the connecting cable,
if the strain relief fails.
• The installer must ensure that an easily accessible
circuit breaker (fuse) with a contact gap of at least
3 mm is integrated into the appliance's circuit,
which complies with the applicable regulations and
ensures complete disconnection of the appliance
from the power supply in the event of an emergency.
• The appliance is designed for permanent installation
with a three-pole mains cable and is to be connected
by the installer according to the connection diagram
shown.
• The cable must be laid in such a way that it cannot
be kinked, crushed or twisted and cannot come into
contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces.
• The mains cable may only be replaced by a qualified
electrician in compliance with the applicable
regulations.
• Do not use multiple plugs, socket strips or extensions
as there is a risk of fire if they are overloaded.
