6. Cleaning and Maintenance of the Appliance
CAUTION!
Risk of electric shock!
To avoid the risk of electric shock, disconnect the appliance from
the power supply before any cleaning, maintenance, etc. !
Moisture penetrating into live components can cause
a short circuit or electric shock!
Do not use pressure washers or steam cleaners
to clean the appliance!
CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
Contact with hot surfaces or steam can cause burns or damage!
Do not clean the oven and accessories when hot!
Do not pour water into the hot cooking chamber!
This will produce hot steam which can cause scalding
and can also damage the enamel coating due to the
temperature change!
ATTENTION!
Risk of damage!
Food and cleaning residues can damage the surfaces
of the appliance over time!
Always keep all oven components clean, as well as the accessories,
and remove all cleaning residues immediately!
In particular damage to and soiling of the seal can lead to
the appliance door no longer closing properly
and to nearby surfaces being damaged by the heat escaping
during operation!
Always ensure that the seal is in perfect condition!
Always remove burnt and melted stains, especially those
containing sugar (such as fruit juice) immediately
to prevent them from sticking and becoming impossible to remove!
Do not use any aggressive (e.g. bleaching or acidic) cleaning agents,
scouring agents, sharp, pointed or abrasive utensils or similar
products for cleaning in order to avoid damage,
especially in the area of the operating elements!
