Energy-efficient use of the appliance
Your appliance complies with the latest standards
and its energy consumption has already been optimised
to a large extent technically.
In order to keep energy consumption as low as possible during use
additionally, please observe the following instructions
for energy-saving use:
• Before switching on, remove any accessories that are not
necessary from the cooking chamber,
as heating them would consume additional energy.
• To avoid heat loss, make sure that the oven door is always com-
pletely closed during operation and do not open it more often
than necessary.
• If possible, use dark black finished, coated or enamelled tins,
because they absorb the oven heat particularly well.
• Only preheat the oven if this is specified in the recipe
or absolutely necessary.
• If you want to heat several dishes, use different shelf levels
at the same time with the highest temperature setting required,
taking out dishes with lower cooking temperatures earlier.
• When heating up the empty oven, much energy is needed. It can
therefore be saved by baking several dishes one after the other
energy because the residual heat is used optimally.
• Switch off the oven about 10 minutes before the end of longer
baking times to use the residual heat to finish cooking.
• Switch off the oven lighting, when you do not need it.
• Turn off the power completely when not in use.
• To avoid increased energy consumption due to soiling
of the cooking chamber or the seal,
always keep the appliance clean.
