CAUTION!
Physical injuries and damage to property and the environment
If faults cannot be eliminated by means of the listed measures, the instrument must be taken out of operation
immediately.
Ensure that pressure or signal is no longer present and protect against accidental commissioning.
Contact the manufacturer.
If a return is needed, please follow the instructions given in chapter 9.2 "Return".

Faults
Power supply unit
The screen is dark and "Charging the
rechargeable battery" has no effect.
Rechargeable battery
The message "low BAT" is shown in
the display.
The screen will be dark after the
instrument is switched on and during
operation.
Instrument smells when used or
becomes unusually hot when charging
Instrument smells during storage or
gets unusually hot
Instrument seems abnormal in some
other way
The rechargeable battery is not fully
charged after 24 hours
Malfunctions
The backlighting and the internal
voltage supply for the test items with
DC 24 V are suddenly no longer
available.
Measured values are fluctuating
heavily.
Measurements and test item
There is an intermittent audio alarm
and in the lower infobar, there is a
message "Overflow".
An intermittent audio alarm is audible
and the display shows lines rather than
the measured value.

Causes
Defective power supply unit
The power supply unit is not properly
connected
The load capacity of the rechargeable battery
is less than 10 %
Rechargeable battery is empty
Defective rechargeable battery
Defective rechargeable battery

Defective rechargeable battery
The screen is dark since the PowerSave
function is switched on. This is activated when
no buttons have been touched for a certain
time.
Malfunctions during operation
The current pressure value is slightly outside
the allowable pressure range (2 ... 10 %)
The current pressure value is more than 10 %
outside the allowable pressure range
The model CPT6000 reference pressure
sensor is not properly connected, or there is a
problem with the connection

Measures
Replace the power supply unit with a new one
(see chapter 11 "Accessories")
Check whether the power supply unit is
connected properly and check, through the
authorised skilled personnel, whether the
voltage supply is correct
Charge the rechargeable battery using the
appropriate charger
Recharge the rechargeable battery using the
power supply unit
Take the instrument out of service
immediately and contact the manufacturer
Take the instrument out of service
immediately and contact the manufacturer
Take the instrument out of service
immediately and contact the manufacturer
Take the instrument out of service
immediately and contact the manufacturer
Press any button to interrupt the PowerSave
function, and if necessary, increase the idle
time for the PowerSave feature (see chapter
6.9.5 "CPH configuration")
Switch off the instrument and switch on again
after 5 seconds
Adjust the pressure
Adjust the pressure immediately
Connect the reference pressure sensor
