Test assembly

CAUTION!
False measuring results through incorrect mounting position
An unsafe stand, vibration or incorrect mounting position can influence the measurement.
EN
Only connect test and calibration installations once the system has been depressurised!
The CPH6000 should be fully charged before being put into operation.
Before switching the instrument on, ensure that the test assembly is not pressurised (system is vented to
atmosphere) and that the equipment is correctly assembled and in the correct mounting position.
The test assemblies must be physically assembled and, if necessary, connected electrically (see chapter
6.2 "Sensor connection and sensor change").
Particularly small measuring ranges e.g. < 1 bar [< 15 psi] are orientation dependent (i.e. the mounting position considerably
influences the measuring signal). This can be compensated, if necessary, using the TARE function (see chapter
6.9.1 "Functions").
Absolute-pressure measuring ranges < 1 bar abs. [< 15 psi abs.] are, by definition, in an overload condition at atmospheric
pressure. Therefore the message "Overflow" appears in the display, indicating a pressure outside of the measuring range of
the attached sensor.
If the pressure is reduced, so that it falls within the permissible measuring range, then the message "Overflow" disappears
from the display.
Since absolute pressure measuring ranges < 1 bar abs. [< 15 psi abs.] are always 'overloaded' at atmospheric pressure, for
these measuring ranges, the time limit function is deactivated with overload.
The setting is made in the SETUP additional menu item: Reference sensor (see chapter 6.9.3 "Reference sensor").
