Sensor connection and sensor change

WARNING!
Mechanical damage through incorrect pressure sensor or applied pressure
Disregarding this can lead to the destruction of the measuring instrument!

Only use model CPT6000 reference pressure sensors! Using other sensors could damage both the pressure
calibrator and the reference pressure sensor.
1. To change the sensor, switch off the pressure calibrator and vent the system.
2. Plug the sensor in.
When the CPH6000 is switched on, the CPT6000 reference pressure sensor must be in the same mounting
position in which the measurements will be made and must not be pressurised.
There must be atmospheric pressure.
3. Switch on instrument.

The sensor is recognised automatically.
4. Measurements can be performed.

6.2.1 Mechanical connection of a CPT6000

1. To make the mechanical connection of the CPT6000 reference pressure sensor, it must be placed, connecting thread first,
in the hexagonal sensor bracket of the instrument, so that the hexagonal anti-rotation stop of the CPT6000 sits accordingly
in the sensor bracket.
2. Subsequently, the sensor can be secured with the hand-operated, quick-release plug screw.

(tighten = turn clockwise; release = turn anticlockwise)
No further tools are required for this (only screw in hand-tight).

6.2.2 Electrical connection of a CPT6000

When exchanging the sensor, use the 8-pin plug connector at the sensor.
3. For the electrical connection of a model CPT6000 reference pressure sensor, the corresponding cable connector must be
plugged in at the sensor in accordance with the orientation guide and secured through the connection sleeve.
4. Turn the connection sleeve clockwise without much force.
5. To loosen the connection, the connection sleeve must be turned anticlockwise.
6. To disconnect the sensor, do not pull on the cable, but rather only on the connector sleeve.
7. To connect to the CPH6000, also connect the other end of the cable in accordance with the orientation guide and secure it
with the connection sleeve.
8. Turn the connection sleeve clockwise without much force.
9. To loosen the connection, the connection sleeve must be turned anticlockwise.
10. To disconnect the CPH6000, do not pull on the cable, but rather only on the connector sleeve.
