In the event of a defect, extreme temperatures
can be present at the instrument.

Error
No function
The calibrator does not respond
when the power cord is
connected and the switch is on.
The fuse tripped as the
instrument was switched on
Final temperature is not reached
The display is working properly
but the temperature does not
increase and the calibrator
displays error code Ht.
The display is working properly
but the temperature does not
increase and the calibrator
indicate Err after few seconds.
The display shows a different
temperature than is present in the
block
The temperature exceeds the set
point
The calibrator is barely cooling
down
810 or 786 appears on the display. Internal probe is faulty

Causes
The voltage supply is not established correctly
The fuse is defective
The power cord is defective
The main switch is faulty
The fuse is wrong
The main switch is faulty
Short-circuit in the heating element
The solid-state relay or the heating element is
faulty
The overtemperature switch has tripped
The safety thermostat has been triggered for
over temperature
The heater is faulty
The temperature controller is faulty
The internal probe is not calibrated
The controller is defective
The control circuit board is defective
The controller is defective
Fan is defective

If faults cannot be eliminated by means of the
listed measures, the instrument must be taken
out of operation immediately.

Check voltage supply
Replacing the fuse
Replace the power cord with an equivalent

Check that the proper fuse is inserted for
the supply voltage and replace the fuse, if
necessary.
