Service and maintenance

So that your BestWater system functions
reliably for a long time and delivers qua-
litatively good water, it is necessary to
service the system regularly.
During the annual maintenance, the ge-
neral condition of the system is to be ex-
amined, in addition, the following activi-
ties are to be carried out:
Check the hose couplings that lead

to the BestWater system (in case of
any detected cracks or kinks, the
hoses must be replaced).

Check the plug and/or crimp

connections (damaged ones and
those where cracks are detected are

to be replaced).
Measuring of the air pressure if

necessary adjusting (only in the
empty state and with closed
stopcock).
Greasing of the elastic seals (replace

porous seals).
Filter change (see as follows).

Disinfection (see as follows).
●
Have the work that is required for the
maintenance of the BestWater system
carried out by a competent and au-
thorized installer (e.g. gas water plum-
ber) who has the necessary equipment
(among other things Air compressor) and
who supports you with helpful hints.

The fi lter Change
The prefi lters are the preliminary stage
to the membrane and protect this to
a special degree. So it is necessary to
change the fi lter units regularly.
This is also one of the warranty condi-
tions. Therefore, please observe the pe-
riods for the fi lter change. To change the
pre and/or the postfi lter, refer to the Im-
age for help and proceed as follows:
1. Take the water consumers

connected to the reservoir tank out
of operation (only with Jungbrunnen
66-11).
2. Close the stopcock on the reservoir
●
tank (only with Jungbrun nen 66-11).
The stopcock is closed if the rotary lever
of the stopcock is transverse to the
hose.
