What to do if
You can remedy most faults and errors
that may happen during everyday ope-
ration yourself. In many cases, you can
save time and costs, since you need not
call on the customer service.
The following tables should help you in
fi nding and rectifying the causes of faults
or errors. However, please note:

Membrane clogged
Booster pump(s) defective
Another water consumer is drawing water
from the BestWater system or storage tank
at the same time.
Main valve (solenoid valve) dirty
connected terminal devices at the storage
tank seem to be defective.
Air enrichment, as well as binding of the
zeolite mineral rock, in the fi lter system
Incorrectly adjusted air pressure in the
reservoir*.
Membrane clogged
Booster pump(s) defective
There is no voltage at the unit
PLC control unit damaged by overvoltage
Remedy
The membrane must be replaced by the
specialist dealer.
The booster pump(s) must be replaced by the
specialist dealer.
Please be patient
Cleaning or replacement only possible by the
specialist dealer.
Attention: The installation of a sealing sieve in
the Water-Stopper is mandatory.
Please disconnect the water consumers that
are connected to the BestWater system (in
this case to the storage tank). There seems to
be a technical defect. Contact the manufactu-
rer of the end consumers immediately (do not
contact BestWater).
Air, as well as the binding of the zeolite
mineral rock in the fi ltered water (permeate)
of the fi lter system, is usually a temporary
phenomenon and tends to occur after the
fi lter has been changed. It usually disappears
after a longer period of time; if necessary, the
unit must be vented.
With the storage tank empty, measure the air
pressure (pre-pressure). The values must be
between approx. 0.35 - 0.5 bar.
The membrane must be replaced by the
specialist dealer.
The booster pump(s) must be replaced by the
specialist dealer.
Check as follows:
- the mains plug is plugged in
- the mains switch is set to (l)
- the existing fuse is OK
- the socket has voltage
The unit must be repaired by the specialist
dealer.
