Electrical connection

The BestWater system is equipped with
a cold appliance module on the rear
side, into which the cold appliance plug
(according to IEC 60320-C14), two-pole
mains switch and appliance fuse are
integrated. The scope of delivery in-
cludes an approx. 1.8 m long connec-
ting cable with a cold appliance socket
(coupling, acc. to IEC 60320-C13) angled
downwards, also called "cold appliance
cable"". Accessibility to the mains plug
must always be ensured in order to dis-
connect the BestWater system from the
mains supply. Before connecting the unit

to the mains, make sure that the mains
switch is in the zero position.

Connect the BestWater system with the
supplied power cable.

As soon as the mains switch is switched
on, the BestWater system is activated.
The now illuminated display of the unit
control shows information about the
commissioning and operation of the
unit. Follow the instructions on the dis-
play.

Setting up and connecting
The connection may only be made
to electrical systems designed in ac-
cordance with DIN VDE 0 100.
The rating plate provides information on
the rated power consumption and the
type plate provides information.
Compare the information on the type pla-
te with the data of the electrical network.
Set up and connect the unit correctly be-
fore using it for the fi rst time. Please refer
to the chapter "Installation and connec-
tion".
A complete function test, a seal test and
a performance test were carried out on
this BestWater system. Therefore, the-
re is a residual amount of water in the
BestWater system.
Repairs to electrical appliances may only
be carried out by authorised specialists.
Improper repairs can cause considerable
danger to the user.
