The water stopper
Follow these steps to connect the water
stopper:
1. Open the rear battery case of the wa-
ter stopper. Insert one AA battery into
the water stopper and close the rear bat-
tery case again. Change this battery after
each fi lter change, or once per year.
2. Screw the 1/4" connector IT with 3/4"
IT onto the 3/4" Y distributor.
3. Screw the water stopper onto the 3/4"
Y-distributor. A washing machine or

dishwasher can also be connected to the
Y-distributor. The water stopper is only

applied fi nger-tight.
4. Make sure that the contaminant fi l-
ter is installed in the water stopper.
5. Mount the water stopper with the
Y distributor onto the corner valve of
your cold water connection.
6. Please place the 1st sensor directly
next to the unit and the 2nd sensor of
the Water-Stopper at the lowest point in
your built-in cupboard.

Setting up and connecting
The pressure reducer
On both sides of the pressure reducer,
the 3/8 sockets are inserted into the
quick couplings. The fl ow direction of
the pressure reducer is from left to right.
The water inlet hose is plugged into the
left-hand socket and the hose leading
to the Bestwatersystem is plugged into
the right-hand socket.

Now screw the supplied bracket to the
wall or cabinet and hang the pressure
reducer in the bracket. Set the pressure
reducer to 4.5 bar according to the inst-
ructions supplied.
Install the pressure reducing valve
The pressure reducer only needs to be ins-
talled if the pressure is above 4.5 bar.
