MEASURING WITH PINCHPILOT

5.7.1 Normal operation

To carry out a normal measurement, the sensor and the display unit are the components in
use. It is not necessary, to connect the display unit to a PC. The measurement procedure is
described in the chapter "Measuring".

5.7.2 Controlled by PinchPilot

Beside the mentioned method above, it is possible to control a measurement from the PC.
For this, the display unit has to be connected to the PC.
Turn on display unit and put PinchPilot into measurement mode ("Sensor/ Measurement",
see Fig. 5.6).
