Factory Default
Use this option to return all settings to the factory condition.
IR Receiver
The Infrared remote control option can be enabled or disabled from this menu.
The remote control mimics the front panel control of the D4. The remote control
does not allow the configuration of the menus. When the IR receiver is enabled
the IR LED on the D4 is solid green, when it is disabled the IR LED switches to
solid amber. The LED flashing green signifies an IR signal being received.
Please refer to Appendix 2 for details of using the remote control.
Audio Recording
A single channel of audio can be recorded on the D4, use this menu to enable
or disable audio recording. Audio recording takes up a small amount of
storage, approximately 4 Kbs; this is regardless of the record rate (PPS) of the
video. When audio is enabled the record time is affected, check the new record
time in the 'Record Schedule' menu.
Note: The audio recording is linked to Camera input 1, i.e. audio is only
recorded when camera 1 is recording. Camera 1 must be displayed to play
back audio.
Serial Telemetry Type
The D4 supports a number of manufacturer's protocols to enable control of
telemetry/dome cameras. Control of the telemetry is via an external keyboard
connected to the D4 (DM/KBS3).
Select the serial telemetry type connected to the relevant input on the unit;
instructions for controlling telemetry can be found in the keyboard manual.

Note: The D4 does not have on-board coaxial telemetry support.
Buzzer
The internal buzzer can be programmed to activate when an alarm, activity
detection, or a camera fail is detected. By default, the buzzer is deactivated.
Note: The camera fail buzzer will continue to activate until the failed camera is
reconnected or replaced. To deactivate the camera fail buzzer on the failed
camera, press and hold the corresponding camera key to enter the Camera
Setup menu and disconnect the camera video input.
Status Page
A status page giving details of alarms and camera failures can be displayed
upon entering the menus. To display this page select 'On'.
