6.3.3 Gluing in rubber nubs

Rubber nubs are glued in to reduce sliding movements between the medial and lateral socket
shells that result in wear and tear.
Complete the following steps to glue in the rubber nubs:
1) Clean the recesses on the inside of the medial socket shell with isopropanol.
2) Pull the rubber nubs off the backing material and glue them into the recesses (see fig. 17).
INFORMATION: In particular, the rubber nubs should be glued in where a cable is
expected to come out.

Four different cable lengths are included with the product. Two of them are selected according to
the respective socket length, as follows:
