21. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The product does not require any maintenance, do not disassemble it.
Have any necessary repairs carried out by a professional/in a specialist workshop to prevent
the risk of destroying the product. Unauthorized repairs also voids both the CE certification and
the warranty.
Clean the product using a soft, dry, lint-free cloth only. Do not use any cleaning agents as they
may cause damage to the housing and labels.
Dust can be easily removed with a clean, soft brush and vacuum cleaner.

22. DISPOSAL

a) General

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.

b) (Rechargeable) batteries

You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechar-
geable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Used (rechargeable) batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with
the following symbols, which indicates that disposal in the household waste is
prohibited. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd=Cadmium,
Hg=mercury, Pb=lead(designation on the batteries e.g. under the refuse bin symbol
depicted on the left).
Used batteries/rechargeable batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality,
our stores or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
