Auto power-off due to overheating
TEMPERATURE
CUT-OFF
The charger can automatically stop charging/discharging if the rechargeable battery at hand
exceeds the temperature set here.
An external temperature sensor (not included) is required to use this function. Connect
the external temperature sensor to the corresponding socket on the right side of the
charger.
Trickle charge (for NiMH NiCd only)
TRICKLE
Set the trickle charge here. A fully charged NiMH or NiCd rechargeable battery will lose some
capacity via self-discharge. Trickle charge (short charging impulses, no constant charging
current!) ensures that the rechargeable battery remains charged. In addition, this function also
prevents the rechargeable battery from crystalizing.
Delay time for delta U detection (for NiMH and NiCd only)
PEAK DELAY
The charger stops charging NiMH/NiCd rechargeable batteries using the delta U method.
Set how long the charger should continue to charge after delta U detection here.
