Proceed as follows to disconnect a rechargeable battery:
1. If the lithium rechargeable battery features a balancer cable, disconnect it from the balan-
cer board.
2. Now disconnect the charging cable from the rechargeable battery.
3. Where applicable, remove the balancer board from the charger.
4. Finally, disconnect the charging cable from the charger.
Always complete the steps in this direction.
Always disconnect the rechargeable battery from the charging cable/balancer board
first. Only then should you remove the charging cable from the charger.
Failure to do so poses a risk of short-circuiting through the two round plugs on the
charging cable and also a fire and explosion hazard!
