• Never leave the product unattended during use. Despite ample and diverse pro-
tective circuits, malfunctions or problems while charging a rechargeable battery
cannot be excluded.
• Do not wear any metallic or conductive materials (e.g. chains, bracelets, rings,
etc.) while working with the charger or rechargeable batteries. The rechargeable
battery or the product may short-circuit, posing a fire or explosion hazard.
• Do not leave rechargeable batteries connected to the charger while it is not in
use or after the rechargeable battery is fully charged.
• Only use the product in temperate climates, do not use in the tropics. Review the
section on „Technical data" to see the permitted ambient conditions for operation.
• Never use the product if it has just been brought from a cold room to a warm
room. When this happens, condensation may form which can cause malfunction
or damage. There is also a risk of lethal electric shock!
Let the charger (and rechargeable battery/batteries) reach room temperature
before plugging in the product and beginning operation. This might take several
hours.
• Please handle the product carefully. The product may be damaged by shocks,
blows, mechanical loads, vibrations or even short falls.
• Should a safe operation of the product be no longer possible, take the product
out of operation and secure it against accidental use.
Safe operation is no longer possible if the product is visibly damaged, no longer
works, was stored for an extended period under adverse conditions or has been
subjected to considerable stress in transit.
