• Move the control pad to the right „6" and hold for 3 seconds to activate the charging
program.
• If the settings are incorrect or the charger detects an error, the charger will emit a warning
signal and the display shows the related information. To stop the warning signal and return
to the previous menu, move the control pad to the left „4".
If the settings are correct, the display will look e.g. like
the image to the right.
The value next to „R": indicates the cell count detected by the charger.
The value next to „S": indicates the cell count you have set in the menu.
If the cell counts do not match, check the charger's settings as well as the rechar-
geable battery. The rechargeable battery may fully discharged or one cell may be
defective. Do not charge the rechargeable battery in this case! Doing so poses a
fire and explosion hazard!
• Start charging by moving the control pad to the right „6".
During charging, the display shows e.g. the following
information:
The rechargeable battery type and cell count are shown at the top left („Li3S" = lithium
rechargeable battery with 3 cells), the charging current is shown at the top center and the
rechargeable battery's current voltage is shown at the top right.
The current charging program („CHG" = „CHARGE") is shown at the bottom left, elapsed
charging time is shown in the center and to the right the charged capacity in mAh.
You can display different information by repeatedly moving the control pad downward
„2".
To return to the normal display, move the control pad to the right „6".
• The charger emits a beep when charging is complete (if this function has not been deactiva-
ted).
To stop charging, move the control pad to the left „4".
