Pause time between charging/discharge cycles

Rechargeable batteries may heat up during charging (depending on the charging current). In
cycle mode, the charger can pause between cycles to allow the rechargeable battery to cool
down.
Safety timer
SAFETY TIMER
ON
The internal safety timer starts automatically when charging begins. If, for any reason, the
charger is unable to detect when a rechargeable battery is fully charged (e.g. as with delta
U detection), the safety timer (if activated) will automatically end charging after the set time
elapses. This protects the rechargeable battery from overloading.
The safety timer can be activated („ON") or deactivated („OFF") and the time can also be set.
Do not set too short a time. Otherwise, the rechargeable battery at hand will not
charge fully, as the safety timer will stop charging prematurely.
Calculate the time for the safety timer as follows:

The factor 11.9 serves to ensure that 140% of rechargeable battery capacity is charged
(guaranteeing that the rechargeable battery at hand charges fully) before the safety
timer activates.
